A historical bias

At Grosfillex, we have been creating robust, qualitative and long-lasting products for 95 years, which are only replaced after one or several decades... Attentive to the impact of our activities on the environment, we have made the choice since the start of using sustainable and recyclable plastics, such as PVC and Polypropylene. Their lifespan, unlike certain single-use plastics, gives our products longevity which limits the need to renew them.

A factory in France

Our cellular wall coverings are 100% manufactured in our factory in Arbent (01) as is a large part of our furniture.

Working in a short circuit, our process is 100% integrated, from the creation of our PVC (compounding) to the manufacturing of our products.

Grosfillex has been committed for several years to setting up a cycle of recovery and reuse of its PVC or polypropylene production waste : today 100% of this waste is recovered and reincorporated into new products.

After this first phase of consumption of our production waste, the next phase of this development will be the integration of recycled raw materials from products already consumed. On the furniture range, conclusive tests will make it possible to initiate this approach at the industrial level in the very short term.

To consolidate its commitment to reducing its impact on the climate, preserving resources and improving its results through effective energy management, Grosfillex obtained ISO 50 001 Certification - Energy Management - for its factory. furniture and wall coverings in 2022. Grosfillex also pays particular attention to the reasoned use of the natural resources necessary for its production, as well as their impact in terms of pollution (soil, water, air).

 

Grosfillex, as part of its CSR policy, also works on other pillars such as working conditions, the responsible purchasing policy and its local roots.
